Andy Coleman
VP of Business Development and Strategy
Andrew has worked on business development strategy and partnership implementation in the internet space for a whole decade. As a Director of Business Development at eBay, he partnered with the USPS to build the shipping interface for eBay users. Before that accomplishment, Andrew was the Director of Category Management for Collectibles and Sports. Before that, Andrew spent 5 years as a consultant at Lexis-Nexis and several years as an intellectual property attorney in Chicago. His over-schooling began at the University of Chicago (BA and JD) and continued at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (MBA)
Dan Estabrook
General Manager
Dan has twenty years of experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He has held product marketing roles at Mattel Toys, Pacific Bell (a little company now known as AT&T), and Covad Communications. Dan has put in time at Stanford University and most recently at The Nature Conservancy, where he directed the major gift efforts in Northern California. Dan uses all of his experience to help all of us do our jobs better. Dan grew up on a dairy farm in Maine (though you can't tell by looking at him), attended Dartmouth College and then UCLA.
Justin LaBaw-Rivers
Creative Director
Justin has over 8 years experience directing the creative for interactive media companies, spearheading the creative divisions of some unrenowned companies like Yahoo!, Buzztone and Hands-On Mobile. After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree, he moved to the Big Apple to apply his wares in the editorial halls of Vibe, Esquire and Complex Magazines. While creating engaging online experiences, Justin brings his signature illustrative style and his enthusiasm for nature and conservation to every project at GreenDimes.
Sanjiv Parikh
Marketing Manager
After receiving his B.S in Business and Economics at UNH from the small town of Durham, NH, Sanjiv headed to straight to the big city in New York. For several years, Sanjiv was an institutional equities trader at Lehman Brothers, New York. After, he wrote projects for the entertainment world in Los Angeles. Now in Silicon Valley, Sanjiv likes the idea that marketing combines creativity with the fast paced world of business, and loves that he can do it while being green. Sanjiv's favorite non-profits are kiva.org and Habitats for Humanity; his favorite profits are Coca Cola and United Airlines.
Pankaj Shah
CEO
Founder and CEO of GreenDimes, Pankaj has a proven track record for building socially conscious businesses and branding them. Pankaj's successful start-up accomplishments include founding two internet-related companies: 4INFO and MetroFi. A true pioneer, he believes that the marriage of capitalism and social good is the ideal way of making a measurable and sustainable difference in the world. Pankaj currently serves on the board of directors and as an advisor to several venture-backed start-ups. He is proud to serve on the board of BRAC USA and Girls, Inc. and is an avid supporter of Music Rising, a non-profit focused on helping to bring instruments to children. Since all of this leaves him with a lot of time on his hands, he consults on mobile, wireless and broadband issues and has been a guest speaker at a number of top schools. Pankaj's passions include travel, music and sports (especially texting.)
Glenn Smith
Engineering
What keeps Glenn up at night is wondering why there is still so much mail to be hauled directly from the mailbox to the recycling bin. As an avid recycler for 24 years, he does appreciate the progress he has seen in curbside recycling throughout the San Francisco Bay area. When not pondering the problems of waste, Glenn's days have been spent developing and installing MES and maintenance systems for businesses which include coal mining in the United States, public utilities in New Zealand and geo-thermal power plants in Indonesia. Before his world travel, Glenn earned a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Daphne Tooley
Office Manager
Daphne is our office administration expert. When she joined the team at GreenDimes, Daphne thought to herself, "What a great idea for a company – that's something I want to be a part of." She says that she loves the opportunity this position gives her to assist her co-workers, and the challenge of keeping the office running smoothly. Daphne's passion, besides GreenDimes, is her love for animals so, in her spare time, she enjoys caring for her pets.
